Proud Member of Columbus' Together 2016 Movement
Columbus Water Works is proud to be a part of Together 2016, which is a movement designed to bring our diverse population together offering recreation, medical, public safety and reliable utility services to support this prosperous and innovative community. We are one of many outstanding organizations located here in Columbus, Georgia, who believe in creating and maintaining a healthy place to celebrate our differences, preserve our history, enjoy our natural surroundings and raise our families.
Columbus Water Works’ vision statement truly embodies the spirit of who we are, “To be an outstanding provider of utility services, dedicated to protecting the environment, aspiring to new opportunities and compelled to excel in service to our community.” In the spirit of innovation, Columbus Water Works is upgrading many of our core systems to provide the community with the conveniences they expect and deserve. We recently transitioned our meter reading and billing processes to improve efficiency and our customers’ ability to get more accurate and timely consumption information. Paired with this upgrade, we replaced our e-TAP (electronic Transaction And Payment) system providing more reliability and increased payment options. These changes are part of a larger vision which will expand our customer service capabilities into the future.
